The Auckland Travel Show (Lemongrass Productions Ltd), in partnership with Malaysia Airlines, is giving one lucky attendee the chance to win two Business Class return flights to Malaysia aboard the A330neo.

 

The Prize

Two Business Class return tickets with Malaysia Airlines, strictly for travel from Auckland to Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur and other domestic cities operated by Malaysia Airlines). Both tickets must be booked together and used on the same flights, dates, and itinerary. Tickets cannot be split, transferred, or redeemed separately.

The prize is subject to the following conditions:

• Travel is valid on Malaysia Airlines operated flights only, departing from Auckland. No code-share flights are permitted.

• Reservations must be made prior to departure and tickets must be issued by 31 August 2026.

• Travel must be completed by 30 November 2026 and will not be extended.

• No changes are permitted to travel arrangements once tickets are issued.

• All travel are subject to (“U”) class availability at the time of reservation. Seats are limited or may not be available during peak season which includes but not limited to Australian/New Zealand School Holidays, Easter & New Year periods, etc.

• Taxes and airport surcharges will be borne by Malaysia Airlines.

• All other out-of-pocket expenses including accommodation, meals, travel insurance, transfers, and any other ancillary costs are to be borne by the winner.

• Enrich Frequent Flyer miles are not applicable and purchase of preferred seating is not permitted.

• MHUpgrade is not permitted.

• Business Class Lounge access is not permitted at any airport.

• The prize winner is responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documents. Passports must have a minimum validity of six months at the time of travel.

• Bookings must be made through Malaysia Airlines via the contacts provided to the prize winner. Bookings through travel agents are not permitted.

• If the prize certificate is lost or misplaced, it is not replaceable.

• All travel is subject to Malaysia Airlines' general conditions of carriage, available at malaysiaairlines.com.

• If the prize is not utilised as stated, it will be forfeited. Malaysia Airlines, its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage, or personal injury whatsoever, including direct, indirect, and consequential loss, suffered or sustained in connection with this competition or the use of the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

Eligibility

To be eligible to enter, participants must be:

1. At least 18 years of age.

2. A New Zealand resident.

3. Employees and their immediate families of Malaysia Airlines, Lemongrass Productions, or any agency associated with this competition, and employees or directors of any exhibitor or sponsor of The Auckland Travel Show, are not eligible to participate.

 

Competition Period

The competition opens on Wednesday 15 April 2026 and closes at 11.59pm on Sunday 10 May 2026.

How to Enter

1. Purchase a ticket(/tickets) to The Auckland Travel Show at www.travelshow.flicket.co.nz and opt in to receive email communications from Lemongrass Productions and Malaysia Airlines, including Enrich, Malaysia Airlines’ loyalty programme, at checkout. This registers your entry.

2. You can also enter the competition prize draw at the event, via the QR Code Entry Form.

3. For a second entry, follow Malaysia Airlines on Facebook and/or Instagram. Attendees who appear on the prize draw list and are also followers of Malaysia Airlines on at least one platform will receive one additional entry.

The Draw

The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries after the competition closes at 11.59pm on Sunday 10 May 2026. The winner will be notified by email and announced on The Auckland Travel Show social media channels on Thursday 14 May 2026. If the winner does not respond within 3 days of notification, a new winner will be drawn.

General Conditions

• There is one winner. The prize reflects the total prize the singular winner will receive.

• The prize is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

• Transport to Auckland Airport is not included.

• Participants may enter the prize draw a maximum of two times: Once via online ticket purchase or onsite QR Code Entry Form and one additional entry via following Malaysia Airlines social platforms. Any additional entries by the participant will be removed prior to the prize draw.

• By entering, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, including all eligibility requirements.

• We reserve the right to cancel the competition at any time, for any reason, and without prior notification.

• We will collect your personal information (name and contact details) for the purpose of administering this prize draw and, where you have opted in, to send you event and marketing communications from Lemongrass Productions and Malaysia Airlines. Your details will be shared with Malaysia Airlines solely for these purposes and will not be shared with any other third party. You will be able to opt out of email communications at any time.
